In July 2013 the second ever SEVENFRIDAY Off-Series, the P3/02 was released. Limited to 350 pieces worldwide, this addition to our Industrial Engines line is inspired is inspired by the art of wood joinery, specifically the wooden decking of boats and yachts. This was the first time we had combined wood with our watches. The P3/02 features an animation ring made from solid Canadian black walnut wood giving it a completely different look and feel to any SEVENFRIDAY before it.
The watch is part of the P-Series but with a unique red hour disk, blue seconds disk and wooden animation ring. The case back mentions its materials & dimensions as with all SEVENFRIDAY pieces but this time mentioning the Canadian Black Walnut and listing the model number out of the 350 produced.A few weeks after release the SEVENFRIDAY community decided the nickname for this model should be the ‘Woody’! This simple nickname secured the watch’s cult status among collectors, a truly rare piece to see.
